This project involved writing an original manuscript and developing a unified, consistent design for a book.

Electrified Energy traces the history and development of the electric guitar, how its design reflects the cultural values of its time, and how it has contributed to pop culture.

The cover, grungy opening chapter spreads, juxtaposition of electric guitar imagery, dynamic layout, and flexible grid are all evocative of the raw energy attributed to rock and roll.
