Bookplate

Print Experiment

A bookplate (ex libris) is a label placed inside the front cover of a book as a way of identifying the book's owner.

These are a series of experiments using my initials, a letterpress and wood block type. Each print explored composition, colour, and the use of different printing techniques and materials. The final solution combines both digital and letterpress printing while maintaining the tactile qualities of a print.
